Dundee in ninth host eighth-placed Aberdeen at Dens Park in their midweek Scottish Premiership meeting, with both teams looking to put their midweek defeats behind them and end the season on a high.

Dundee were defeated in their midweek match, away to Kilmarnock, as their miserable Rugby Park record continued. The Dee may have eliminated Killie from the Scottish Cup in Ayrshire back in January, but they haven't won a league game there in nine trips (D5 L4) since a sole goal success in May 2017. Despite naming a radical eight changes last time out, the Dee could leapfrog the Dons on the last day.

Including the curtailed 2019/20 Scottish Premiership season, Aberdeen have now lost their final home match in three of the past nine campaigns (W4 D2) after they were beaten by the Buddies thanks to St Mirren's success in midweek. The Reds can't finish any higher than eighth place in the league this season, and they'll hang onto that position as long as they avoid defeat to Dundee at Dens this weekend.

Aberdeen won the first two meetings between the two teams in the 2025/26 Scottish Premiership, but Dundee defeated the Dons at Pittodrie in February so could do so again here to finish above the Reds this season.
