Dundee United missed out on the chance to win a third successive Scottish Premiership match, last winning three on the spin back in April 2025, as they rescued a point in Perth against St Johnstone last Saturday. Aberdeen broke their Pittodrie duck last weekend, having failed to score in each of their last three Scottish Premiership home matches before their success against St Mirren, avoiding drawing a blank in four successive league games at Pittodrie for the first time since September 2012.
