Match Preview
Dundee United and Livingston meet for the third time in the Scottish Premiership this season, with a fourth between the two teams yet to come after the league splits in two.
Dundee United were consigned to a bottom half finish in the Scottish Premiership this season, after losing to Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday in a 4-2 defeat. A loss away to the Gers is nothing new for the Terrors, who have won just one of their past 23 league visits to the Gers (D4 L18) which was a 3-2 victory back in April 2011. However, they were held at home by Livingston in a 1-1 draw back in October.
Only Arbroath in 1960/69 (31) have gone longer than Livingston's 30 Scottish top-flight matches (D12 L18) without a win in top division history. However, five draws in their last six league games has proved that Livi are a tough nut to crack despite what the league table tells you. But the Lions aren't naive enough to know that if there's any chance of staying in the top league, draws must turn into victories soon.
Despite being held at home by Livi in October, United won in West Lothian back in December so will hope to record back-to-back victories over the Lions on Saturday afternoon at Tannadice.
