Dundee United and Livingston both won their first match of the Scottish Premiership split, but haven't won in either of the two that have followed since.

Dundee United were previously unbeaten in six Scottish Premiership meetings with Aberdeen (W3 D3) since losing 1-0 in October 2024, before the Dons defeated the Terrors 2-0 up at Pittodrie last weekend. United lost three consecutive away Scottish Premiership matches for the first time since May 2023 and appear to have an eye on next season already, letting their grip on seventh place slip.

Livingston were looking to win back-to-back Scottish Premiership matches away from home for the first time since January 2023, but were defeated 3-0 by Dundee at Dens Park on Saturday afternoon. Livi make an immediate return to the city of discovery, but have won just one of their previous 36 away league games (D9 L26) which was their 2-0 success at St Mirren just a few weeks ago.

United left it late to beat Livingston at home just before the split, but will be hoping for a more comfortable afternoon against their already relegated opponents at Tannadice in their midweek meeting.
