The team in fourth place meets the side sat in fifth spot, heading into the weekend's fixtures, as Motherwell host Hibernian at Fir Park on Saturday afternoon in the Scottish Premiership.
Motherwell missed out on the chance to beat Celtic in successive Scottish Premiership meetings for the first time since April 2013 as, despite taking the lead at Parkhead, the Steelmen succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at Celtic Park last Saturday. It's only the second time that the Well have lost back-to-back league games in 2025/26, hoping to return to winning ways against Hibs this weekend.
Hibernian are enjoying the longest unbeaten home run - other than Celtic or Rangers - against non-Old Firm opposition (21) since Kilmarnock's 21 without defeat from August 2005 to December 2006, but will be disappointed at having been held at home by basement boys Livingston at Easter Road last Saturday. The Hibees are yet to beat the Well in the Scottish Premiership this season.
The two teams played out a 1-1 draw at Easter Road in January, but Motherwell beat Hibernian 2-0 at Fir Park back in November and will fancy doing so again here to get back to winning ways.
